This time around, the Atlanta-bred emcee has tapped on the likes of frequent collaborator Toro Y Moi, Kaytranada, Young Thug, 03 Greedo, Sango, Wolfgang Gartner, and Lamontwrld for a beautifully stacked track listing that lives up to its predecessors.
“The main thing is that my awareness level is much higher. Production-wise, lyrically, and even just my approach is different,” Rome tells High Snobiety about the differences between his Beautiful Pimp offerings. “Beautiful Pimp 1 was me subconsciously documenting my environment. Beautiful Pimp 2 and my first album, Jerome Raheem Fortune, was the awakening of my self-awareness. This time around there’s a new awareness of my environment – which has broadened vastly from my world travels.”
